The Halogen Star project is one that's seen constant revision and innovation, and This Nameless Undead is no exception. Gareth Sloan's unique fusion of vaporwave and ambient techno has been growing in scope with each successive album, subtly changing or enhancing an aspect that was established previously. This time, it really feels like Gareth buckled down and perfected his sound.

The production is crystal clean while still maintaining a weightless atmosphere. As energetic as it is relaxing, this is perhaps Gareth at his most authentic, both to his inspirations and his own vision. While the title may imply otherwise, this is one of the most fun, bouncy and uplifting albums we've ever had the privilege of hosting.

This Nameless Undead was written and recorded by Gareth E. Sloan as Halogen Star.
Recorded and mastered from the Andromeda System during Fall and Winter 2020.
