On November 11th, 2018, producers jobert and m a g g i e . w a v formed Vivarium Recordings. Being relative outsiders to the vaporwave community, the label was meant to be a space for the pair's future releases and a place to demonstrate where they wanted to take electronic music. Having not really fallen into any specific scene, the goal was to make steps towards finding the next evolution of their sound. This quickly opened up to other artists that wouldn't necessarily see releases from larger publications but nonetheless crafted something inhenrently interesting.

In effect, Vivarium Recordings became something of an art exhibition space for close friends, veterans unsure of their newest experiments and budding artists looking to take their first steps . Under the care of both jobert and m a g g i e . w a v, many of the label's releases would end up as collaborative efforts, with art consultation and feedback being provided to each of our artists.

We've created something of a bizarre band of misfits here and we wouldn't have it any other way. We want to thank you for a years worth of phenomenal music and we look forward to more future sounds.

This compilation is structured in alphabetical order, including one track from each artist that has appear on the label (excluding the work presented on Future Unknown).

Pretty light, bright and nice album to be listened to, perfect to chill with some mid y2k electronica elements that can even be soothing somehow. I don't have a favourite this time, but it is indeed worth to give it a shot. (: ＦＲＯＳＴｅａｔｏ

The synths on this one are damn solid and consistent!....But too consistent unfortunately :( There's nothing wrong in being repetitive, but you need also to drive it in a way it keeps getting your attention, like Telepath's work for example. And with this one, even when noticing the track changes, it didn't evolve into anything and stood on the same floor, in my impression. Even though was interesting to listen to, but I don't have any favourite track because of my reasons above. ＦＲＯＳＴｅａｔｏ

Crispy, dark, glitchy and TV noisy Ａｅｓｔｈｅｔｉｃｓ, with some peaceful and clear sky windows. I enjoyed it and it goes really fast. It is some kind of prelude of cut to somewhere else, but due to its darkness and unknown feeling, it is definitely my ＦＲＯＳＴｅａｔｏ
