Halogen Star has consistently brought us music that reflects his moniker, sonic travels through space edging on the ethereal. With God's Channel, his sounds have completely ascended to the heavens. Effortlessly bouncing between the ambient techno that our interstellar guide built his foundation on and honest to god vaporwave, this record feels larger than life itself and that is perhaps exactly the point.

Despite maintaining his typically large track lengths, the balance between spontaneity and precision allows this album to feel impossibly short for a project exceeding an hour's runtime. The focus on environment as an instrument in many of these tracks allows Halogen Star to stand toe to toe with the many dreampunk giants of his home country and bring some genuinely original flourishes on the genre. All told, this is the mark someone that has nearly perfected their own style and we're all the more blessed to have his work on our label. Godspeed.
