With every passing second, we are embraced by the future. It's a concept that never fails to allude us as we are simultaneously hopeful, fearful and uncertain of what comes next. With the various electronic movements thriving on the internet today, we are crafting and in some ways coping with a feeling of nostalgia that we cannot properly place. One where we are longing for a time that we were promised but never came to fruition, and in some cases, it is the knowledge that most of us will not live to see it that drives our passion in our sound. Future Unknown is an attempt to manifest our feelings and predictions in unison.

This is the product of community collaboration led by Vivarium Recordings very own m a g g i e . w a v and jobert. We want to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone that participated in crafting what we feel is one of the most narratively satisfying compilations in recent memory. Long live the future.

I listened to this album three times already. I really enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed listening to Infinite Embrace while reading the 12th chapter of The Wizard of Oz when Dorothy and her friends were in the land of the Wicked Witch of the West and she sent armies of Wolves, Black Bees, her slaves and then the Flying Monkeys. The Tinman is chopping off wolf heads like a badass. The book is much darker and somehow this chapter worked really well with that track. I have quite a few favorites. Dionysus Virus
