Druida - Esculturas de Ossos

Brazilian producer Druida forays deep into ghostly terrain on Esculturas de Ossos (translating to "Bone Sculptures" in English). Wailing voices and clangorous percussion comprise its uncanny sound, often evoking a disquieting familiarity in its deep, droning samples. Scattered sonic remnants of the natural world which surround us are bound up together into a new, communal whole. A zen is found in this new body, in accepting states of devouring and being devoured alike. Inspired by the Apichatpong Weerasethakul film 'Tropical Malady', Esculturas de Ossos invites us on a fecund seance in plunderphonics, evaporating into an ineffable trace sensation by its close.
